Day 3: Pakenham, Suffolk

We left Windsor today to spend 2 days with my cousin, Bec, and her husband, Mark, at their house in Suffolk. It's definitely country living. They have a beautiful house (probably 400 years old) that they've done lots of work on, and a fantastic garden, complete with chickens!! The drive took about 1 & 1/2 or 2 hours, so it was just a relaxing day...not many other plans for the day. We had a USA vs Great Britain cook off planned. Bec and Mark went first. Lamb burgers were on the menu.

Wade had to try Pimm's!

Bec and Mark's lovely garden!

Homemade Elderflower Champagne. We all had to try it!

A look towards the chicken coupe.

We ended the evening star gazing in the garden!!

  1. Wow, I think we have to visit Bec and Mark too. I am not sure whether Bec likes her elderberry champagne though.

  2. Who were the dinner judges? Did you get fresh eggs for breakfast?
